“Is Accor Plus membership worth it?” is often a question asked of us. And our answer is always a resounding YES. We’ve travelled to over a hundred countries now. And along the way, we’ve picked up a fair few travel hacks and trips. It is no secret that loyalty programs can be incredibly beneficial to travellers and you can end up saving a lot of money on everything from hotel bookings to meals if you use your membership wisely. However more often than not, loyalty programs offer value-for-money if you’re a frequent traveller.

So we went on a mission to find out a loyalty program that would offer amazing value for money – not just to frequent travellers but also people who travel just once or twice a year. This is how we discovered Accor Plus – a membership program that works in more than 1000 hotels across 20 countries in Asia Pacific, including India! From Fairmont and Pullman to Sofitel and Novotel, there are hundreds of gorgeous hotels that come under the Accor umbrella!

Stunning properties under Accor Plus program – this is Fairmont Jaipur, one of our favourites

But let’s talk numbers and how you can save money with your Accor Plus Membership! Membership costs ₹16520 per year and in this sum you get the following:

  1. 1 complimentary night stay at participating hotels in Asia Pacific! Just this one benefit can save you ₹15000 (and often times more) that you pay for membership. We used our complimentary night at Pullman Melbourne Albert Park (Australia), a gorgeous park-facing hotel in Melbourne! And as Accor Plus members, we got upgraded to the next category room for the nights we paid for.
  2. But that’s not all – there are several other benefits you can use to save even more money!! For instance you get up to 50% off your dining bills across all participating Accor hotel restaurants (close to 1400 across Asia Pacific). For example: we recently visited Thailand and stayed at Pullman Karon Beach Phuket and ended up dining at the hotel almost at every meal. We used our membership and ended up saving so much on dining bills.
  3. In addition to this you can also get 15% off alcoholic drinks at participating hotels in Asia. This is especially great if you are celebrating a special occasion or partying with your friends.
  4. Of course, this isn’t just about saving money but also building connections. Accor Plus Membership gives you access to exclusive events where you can meet like-minded people and also savour some scrumptious food.
  5. Finally another favourite benefit – your Accor Plus Membership also automatically gives you Elite Status and 20 Status Nights in their global lifestyle program ALL – Accor Live Limitless. This way you can enjoy several perks globally, beyond Asia Pacific

Just to give you an example, in the last 5 months alone of our current annual membership, we have saved INR 26,000 and have enjoyed exclusive events and experiences in Accor properties across Asia Pacific. As always, we have a little something for our Bruised Passports family 🙂 If you sign up for Accor Plus over on this page, in addition to all the Accor Plus benefits, you’ll get 1 additional lunch buffet voucher valid at participating Accor restaurants across India.  We hope these pointers gave you several ideas on how you can use your Accor Plus Membership when you travel. We truly think little travel hacks like these can help you travel better.  If you have an upcoming trip, sign up now and use your complimentary night at a hotel of your choice to get saving. Happy travelling 🙂

  1. Hello guys,

I am an existing Accorplus Gold member. My membership expires in August 2024.

Is the benefit applicable on renewals as well.

Also, could i get different vouchers this time, as compared to what i got last year (last year i received vouchers for North & East India zone)?

    1. Hey IShan

The benefit of additional lunch vouchers for BRuised Passports readers will not be applicable in your case since you’re not a new member. All your other AccorPlus benefits will apply, of course. Perhaps you could get a family members to purchase a new membership this time to avail this benefit as well as extra 2K reward points (till 21st July 2024)

      Cheers
