Hi Guys,
I chanced upon your website while browsing & planning a trip to Spain.
I have a few questions. I don’t know if you’d be able to answer, however I’ll ask in any case.
Is March a good month to visit Spain ? Or April?
I travel solo. I can’t drive hence i depend on public transports.
I am planning a pretty intensive 2 & a 1/2 weeks in Spain…
Barcelona, Madrid, a few places in Asturias is on the list…Suggest some places in the south …
Yes March and April are good to visit Spain. While in big cities it’s easy to commute using public transport it can be a pain when you want to explore the countryside
Hi Savi & Vid : Sandy here – in Nov last week myself and husband would like to do a road-trip from Paris – Amsterdam – prague- Munich – vienna- Engelberg – Venice – Amalfi – Rome – Paris : is it possible with a car hire ??? Kindly advise
Yes it’s possible but you have to check with the car rental agency whether they’re ok with crossing borders. Most of them are but some have specific rules
Hi! My cousins and I are planning are road trip to Leh-Ladakh but we have a total of 10 days to do it well. I have read your 3-week blog on it and am fascinated and can’t wait to see the place.
We aim to fly to J&K and will then drive from Gulmarg on. What is the best time of the year to go to have a safe drive yet see some of the snow I can see in the background of your pictures? Is July or August better? Please let me know.
We are Indians from Thailand and love road trips.
Thankyou!
Preeya
Yes June July August are lovely for this road trip – definitely check if the pass is open before departing from Gulmarg ☺️

Hey Guys,
Loved your itinerary for Iceland. Infact, I am planning to go there in march as well.
Just wanted to check with you regarding the probability of seeing northern lights in mid-March.
Would also appreciate if you could share your travel dates as well.
Thanks & Regards,
Parth
Hey Parth – we visited in November. March is usually a good time for Northern Lights but it’s really hard to predict whether or not you’ll see them as it’s a natural phenomenon 🙂
Hey Savi,
Is October good time for Iceland.
It would be a 8-9 days trip
Hey Ankit – October is a great time. However winter is just about beginning, so you won’t be 100% sure of what kind of weather to expect till a week or two before getting there

Hi Savi and Vid,
i read an article about your culinary experiences in Laos which was great! Would you be able to recommend any tour companies/agents or itinerary to travel to Laos for 7 days 8 nights in December? Looking to travel to vang vieng, Vientiane & luang prabang. is it possible to rent a car with a local driver who speaks english and can take us to all these three cities for the entire trip? looking forward to your thoughts!!
Hey Preshtha – I think you read an article about Cambodia. But to answer your question, you can get a driver but it’s usually cheaper to take a bus or even a flight between cities 🙂
hey Guys !!
Thanks for the lovely and detailed blogs. My next trip is for New Zealand in 3 days and your site has been a guide to me ..I am looking for your opinion as between Piha / Muriwai or Coromandel Peninsula , we can only go to one place and then on the road to Rotoura ..Which is is recommended. We have 2.5 year old kids , hence not too much walking is preferred.
Have a great time and enjoy your life the way you do:)
Love
Hey would suggest choosing Coromandel Peninsula if you can do 1 of the two 🙂
I love u guys , I am truly inspired and love the work and time u put into the blog !!!
as far as travel is concerned I have almost traveled to 10 destinations in 2 years ,
which place do u recommend to travel for 5 days in the end of November with a budget of $1800 for two
Thanks !!!
Hey Nikita – try visiting Iceland if you haven’t been already 🙂
Do you take the photographer along when you go to the tour? Or do you have a photo of yourself? What is the best place to travel to New Zanad?

Hello Savi & Vid,
My family of 10 are planning to go to Europe in mid of June. It would be lovely if you could tell what countries can we travel to. As in it shouldn’t be hectic as my grandparents are accompanying us. Its a total of 15-17 days trip.
Warm regards and happy travelling to you guys!
Bhavya Sekhri
bhavyasekhri2808@gmail.com
Hi Bhavya,
Our website is full of details for trips to europe: https://www.bruisedpassports.com/category/europe 🙂
Hi Savi & Vid,
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Nikash Advani from El Sol Strategic Consultants. I write to you on behalf of my client, Tribe Amrapali, who is unveiling an exciting collection very soon. We would love to gift you both a piece from this collection, and wanted your address to deliver the same.
Request you to help me out with the same.
Thank you.
I am going to Europe with my family of 10 including grandparents. We can’t really do so much of walking and road trips with them. We are there from 17th June to 2nd July. We have planned to go to London, Paris, Switzerland and Prague/Berlin/ Slovenia (which out of these 3 would you suggest?)
What are the major things that we shouldn’t miss keeping in mind that my grandparents are also with us.
Keep inspiring and travelling.
Lots of love.
Hey Bhavya
So sorry for not getting back to you sooner – hope you had a great trip. Which 3 did you finally choose then? (I hope Slovenia) 🙂

Hey Guys,
First of all a huge fan of you guys and the way you travel. Well coming to the point..
I’m planning to travel to Maldives. As you suggested in one of your videos i used Hotelscombined. Found a lot of deals much cheaper to price that is quoted on the resorts website. But can it be relied on?? I’m talking about Agoda (mainly) Hotels.com and bookings.com
Any suggestions?? Is it safe to book it with Agoda?
Hi Govind,
I don’t think there should be any problems in booking with these reputed sites. We personally use Hotels.com quite a lot and haven’t faced any issues. Do update us with what you find 🙂
Hi guys
Please suggest……Bali or Mauritius with family in May 2019
Totally depends on your preferences and circumstances. We’d probably go with Bali for a family vacation
Hey guys
please suggest whether Bali is a good option to visit for honeymoon during Feb ??
Sure! Why not?
Hi Bed & Savi.
You both are couple goals and so inspiring! 🙂
I am getting married in January 2020 to the best friend turned love of my life (like you guys) and we both love to travel albeit with a pocket friendly budget.
We want to visit Philippines for our honeymoon in February. Could you suggest a 2 week itinerary and the places we must visit?
Thanks! 🙂
Hi Divya,
Congratulations. We haven’t really explored Philippines so not the best people to suggest 🙂 Hope you find some great information elsewhere. Have a great trip 🙂

I read your article on tulip fields twice , v v helpful but would really appreciate if u can suggest exact places to stay in lisse or haarlem , as im unable to find a place on my own!please its gonna be my dream
Come true wen i bisit the tulip fields! Also would u recommend a chopper ride over yhe tulip fields?
Hi,
We stayed in Hague and cycled/drove to the villages for Tulip fields 🙂
I am going to mimic your Iceland 2 week itinerary in June 2020. I was looking for something at a relaxed pace rather than covering as much as one can for our first trip and your sound perfect 🙂 I was feeling guilty about not doing west fjords like every cookie cutter trip planning websites suggest as I found it way too much driving with no time to savor sights. Thanks for the itinerary
Hey Rashmi,
You are welcome. A road trip in Iceland is the best experience. I hope you get to go there super soon once travel resumes after the Coronavirus pandemic 🙂
Hi Savi & Vid,
I love watching your travel videos and photographs all the time. They are my comfort videos and an escape from reality.
My most favorite videos are the ones in which you have covered the Northern lights 🙂
I wish to visit Iceland to see them soon 🙂
Waiting for you guys to start exploring more such wonderful places again.
Stay safe and healthy 🙂
Lots of Love,
Aditi
Thanks for the love Aditi 🙂 Even we can’t wait to get back to travelling !!!

Hi Savi & Vid,
I recently came across your profile and really loved it. I explored everything what you guys have accomplished and I am a big fan now.
As soon as I came to know that Savi is an academic with a Phd in visual arts and literature, I really got hooked up and feet really connected as I am also a Phd in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee. I left my career in teaching to follow my childhood passion of baking. It was really a hard decision but looking upon you guys gives me a lot of courage.
I have seen in many of your posts that you guys love coffee and have recently shifted to your own house. As a house warming present I want to send some home baked healthy cookies which will go with your daily coffee.
All my cookies are eggless, and free from maida, refined sugar and refined oil. They are made with organic atta, organic desi khandsari as sweetener and pure butter. My cookies are healthy, guilt free and also completes the craving for desserts.
If possible please share your address with me so that I can send you the jars full of healthy bites made with love !
Hey Khyati – sure thing 🙂 Thanks for the love
Hi I have to go on honeymoon in may, can you suggest some good place where the climate is pleasant.

Hi Savi and Vid,
I am Disha Jain, a 3rd-year undergraduate student at FLAME UNIVERSITY. I have been following your journey for a long while and love your work, and you keep inspiring me to travel more.

Hello Savi and Vid,
Thank you for sharing your travel stories with everyone. It is surely inspiring for everyone.
I am planning a 7N trip with my partner to Thailand in January.
We have not been able to decide the places that we need to visit nor divide our days accordingly.
We definitely want to stay away from commercialised places where there is a lot of crowd.
We would want to enjoy the nightlife (not clubs or pubs per se but intimate cafes and bars with live music and good food), water sports (snorkelling, cliff diving and scuba), secluded beaches, and markets to buy souvenirs (not where they rip off tourists).
Could you please suggest a few places that we must/must not visit and help us plan an itinerary?
Hey Girik – based on your preferences I would recommend basing yourself in Krabi. There are lots of restaurants, clubs, pubs etc in Krabi but each day you can rent a boat and explore lots of small offbeat islands that are close to Krabi 🙂
