We have some exciting news 🙂
We’ve been invited by the Mauritius Tourism Board (MTPA) to come and explore their gorgeous island and all it has to offer. Since this is our very first Press Tour we’ve very excited *li’l joys* 🙂
We are hoping to come back with loads of information on Bruised Passports staples – gorgeous hotels perfect for honeymoons and romantic getaways, offbeat gems, pristine beaches, and street food haunts. Here’s a small selection of the things we’re planning to do –
We are planning to:
a) Rent a car and explore all the hidden gems on the island
Mauritius has an incredibly diverse landscape. We are hoping to sample its sugar cane fields, extinct volcanic craters, virtually unbroken coral reef, and crumbling colonial towns.
An underwater photo from our time in Jordan. We are hoping to click many such photos in Mauritius
b) Relaxing on the pristine white beaches of the island
You know how much we love discovering hidden beaches. We’re hoping to spend a LOT of time exploring Mauritius’s sandy beaches.
Savi at a beach in Spain
c) Savour the local delicacies of Mauritius
We hear Mauritian street food is amazing. A mix of Indian, African, French, and Creole influences, it’s known for combining spices, fruits, and vegetable in unique ways. Vid is already salivating as I type this 😉

Now the important part.
Of course, all this has been made possible because of you. Seriously – we feel incredibly fortunate to have the most supportive readers. We read all the comments you leave for us on our blog, Facebook page, or Twitter timeline and they always make our day. So much time and effort goes into keeping Bruised Passports going, but the interaction makes it all worth it. So keep them coming – questions, comments, feedback – we always love hearing from you 🙂
As a thank you we’ve put together a huge giveaway for you guys. This time around, we have both WEARS AND WHERES to give away. The Giveaway will be up on the website next week, so make sure you enter.
That’s it – those are the two things we wanted to share with you !
