Last week, we were invited to shoot with a photographer from Flytographer. We instantly fell in love with the concept because it takes our motto (collect experiences and memories, not things remember?) to another level altogether. Its founder, Nicole, started the company in order to help travellers return home with priceless vacation memories. Travel +Photography – we were sold 🙂 The concept is simple – Flytographer operates in 65 cities across five continents. They hook you up with a local photographer in your city of choice, arrange a fun photo shoot, and you end up with editorial style photos.
The two of us don’t have too many photos together because Vid is usually behind the camera. So this was the perfect excuse for us to get some fun pictures together. We shot with Flytographer’s photographer Julie Kim in London. A couple of days before the shoot, we were quizzed about our favourite things in London. Vid went with Nude Espresso while I went with the street art and vintage vinyl stores dotting The East End. The gorgeous people at Flytographer were listening closely because we met Julie at Nude Espresso. The next hour was spent rummaging vinyl records at warehouse sales, strolling graffiti-laden alleys in Brick Lane, stopping at the odd vintage shop, and doing everything we love. Unsurprisingly, the final product reflects us as individuals and that makes us very happy. Looking at these photos makes us feel all warm and fuzzy, we can’t help it 🙂
